Hand turned deep Madrone or Arbutus wood bowl, 7.75" across and 4.5" deep finished with a  Roseglod leaf rim.  Madrone wood changes shape as it dries, creating wonderfully organic pieces.  Madrone is a hard wood that comes in gorgeous colors ranging from almost white to a wonderful blush pink.  Madrone is one of my favorite woods to turn.  This is part of a large chunk of Madrone found in the PNW.
